which hose kit

on a 1.6 i'd imagine it can only be coolant hoses?

For a 1.6 there's no point other than aesthetics.

A silicon TIP is much stiffer than the OEM one so less prone to collapse under high boost. The OEM ones can collapse under load...especially after a remap. Also it's wider so allows more to flow through it.

good blimy one small mistake and get your head ripped off take it easy lads im after the coolant hoses and wondering if anybody has done that
