I sent an email to Ollie at THS Performance today about their full FR3 engine mount system asking for an update on the possible group buy. Ollie got straight back to me with a discount price for SCN members - £170 delivered
Needless to say, got one winging its way in the post to me! :D

Nice easy transaction too. Ollie sent me a Paypal invoice via email, couple of clicks and everything was done and in the mail.

I also got an update on some plans to extend their website to SCN members with discounts via promotional codes on selected products, which sounds much better than one off group buys to me! Should be up and running sometime next week.

Anyway, looking forward to fitting the kit over the coming bank holiday weekend now. I’ll get some pictures up if anybodies interested, along with a drive report.

Drop Ollie a line if you can’t wait for the new website. Really helpful, friendly guy.

Good info there but affraid its wrong.
Pendulum Support 1 - to gearbox - 40 Nm + 90 ° (1/4 turn) further
Pendulum Support to gearbox - 40 Nm + 90 °(1/4 turn) further

These are incorrect and how I managed to strip the thread in the bottom of my gear box.
These only need to be torqued to 17 ft-lbs (for M8 bolts)any more than this and it could be VERY costly

This is the same infor I got from ELSAWIN but DO NOT USE IT

Can any of you guys point me in the direction of a cheap torque wrench that goes so low.

Most seem go as low as 28Nm(20lb-ft) but the price jumps for one that goes lower. Anything more than about £25 and I might as well get it done at the local garage.

Thx Wille, that has saved me some serious possible problems.
I've Edited the figures above.

I crossed reference the figures to this guide, so guess thats wrong too.
Link

This should probably be taken out of the guide section aswell.

Out of interest Willie, did you use the old bolts, new oem from dealer, or new 3rd party?
If they were the old bolts, could that have been the problem?

Cheers mate.
New OEM bolts bud, as I thought these were stretch, as it turns out there not.

There a web site somewhere that rates torque wrenchs and surprisingly the Halfords ones come out top.
and no its not a Halfords web site:)
