Well finaly got some pics taken of my 06FR+. Cleaned the car last week, got myself some fairy liquid, a brilo pad for those tuff spots and an old t-shirt to dry her with and look at the results!!

Okay so thats a fib, clay, megs 3-step, #8 glaze and two coats of auto-glym hi-def wax. That was two weeks ago so a quick hose down and dry off and the results are below. Some will notice the f/n/s wheel is a different colour, it is and a refurb is next on the list, going for a hi-power silver finish. Install was done by myself, took ages for the power cable to be done as I wanted it to look almost standard.

Thats nice n' clean looking there mate, do I spot another FR in your street? Looks good aswell :coolthumb

Cheers for coments people, thats actually my house mates car. Its a cupra tdi 150, but the bloke before had put 19's on it so the dealer took them off and put the FR+ wheels on it instead. Bit of a sore point as he bought that then 6months later i bought mine, and lets be honest mines better looking:lol:

I know what you mean about the colour, I just saw red and black ones then i buy this and see silver everywhere:think: Still looks good in the sun with the subtle blue tint it has.

Its gettng there just need the wheels re furbed then the rear bumper needs sorting, whilst reversing a crash barrier jumped out on me:censored: Only noticable close up but time and money as always are not on my side.

Cheers again people

Hi. I hope you don't mind me asking, but has your car got a odd wheel on it??. The only reason i ask my brother part x a car in at westerham seat!. The reason for the odd wheel was it had a hard front end shunt when he had it. But saying that we did have it repaired in edenbridge but we couldn't find a good second hand wheel!. He als had problems with the turbo blowing out oil when we serviced it!. When we looked in to it high mileage cars suffer with this.
