for the money i would give it a go cant be any worse than standard can it, if it is just swap back im sure they would offer refund just dont leave the feedback untill tested cant hert to try???

For the price I would (well I did ;)) buy a second hand 007P and get a service kit from Forge for a few ££, good as new :)

If money was tight I'd also wait for a second hand Forge item to come up on the forum.
Usually a couple a month. They are well made and tried and tested on the forum.

I must admit , if money is tight , it may be worth waiting for a second hand 007P one , and as has been said a service kit
Alot of it is down to the grease that is used too

Blimey wish I could have afforded my LC when I was a student LOL!

Agree with the others though would go the tried and tested route with something like this...picked mine up second hand from a guy that bought it for his TT and never fitted it....so a 'brand new' valve for about £50....
