Replaced my fronts a while back after they had done 28k.

10k later I thought I best check the rears and they have 4mm left on them!

Even at £140 a pop I think it's worth buying these again.

those are economy tyres(good for mpg) tbh. Try some performance tyres, your car will feel better. Although performance tyres won't last as long as the exaltos and MPG won't be as good. performace tyres on an FR is a must in my opinion. You can get some premium performance tyres for less than £140 a tyre, so might be worth it.

Done 60K on the rears so far ... still got a decent amount left on them.. fronts are still dying after 15K though :D

Uhm the Pilot Exaltos & Pilot Sport are michelin's top performance range.
Michelin in general are the longest lasting tyres but in general Wet performance is (slightly) less than others.

I now have the Goodyear F1 Eagle Assymetric's. Love'm!

I doubt it will feel any different at 70mph on the A1. I've had F1s in the past. Worth paying extra for the mileage in my book.

Definitely worth a bit extra if they last as long as that, and like you said you will hardly notice the difference between them and so called 'performance' tyres with normal everyday driving.
