On the same basis, I have a 14" ****. It just depends where you measure it from...

You must of measured that from the back of your head then?

Not a persoanl attack i`d have said that to anyone with the same reply ;)

181g/s is my highest :(

Its runs a brand new k03s (and I think still a little tight if thats possible), miltek dp/cat/system in 2.5", green open cone filter, and CC2 on it

Its goes 'ok' but not wow quick. Airflow almost flatters to deceive I think but it ran 168g/s on its stock airbox & paper filter and jumped to this 194g/s from fitting the green cone I made up for it.

boost 20-22psi peak and holds 15psi to 6k
dialed in an additional 4.5 degrees timing as it was'nt pulling any Cf's under boost.

It has an exchange maf on it, bosch and element number is correct as I was dubious.

heck of an airflow. might have to log mrsB lupo again since I changed its ramair out for an open cone green filter.

This would be my chariot Bill, picking up in just under 3 hours. To say i am excited would be an understatement! After my test drive back ill give you an update as to how its performing. I know it hasn't been the easiest car to mod for you mate......again this is probably an understatement

what boost is yours pulling and sustaining phil?
you got std manifold or bigger bore on on there? I cant remember

I've set it to peak at 22.5psi, but ive seen it to go up to 24+psi on profec but i capped it, both past max on the map as you know, but it seems very accurate so i cant confirm numbers that high on vag com. Tapers down to about 12psi at redline, but the WG duty is set at 83% on anything below 14.5psi, so in theory it could hold more, ive never run it at more than that.

Standard manifold, but i'd like to get a cheapo THS one on there to see what difference that makes to boost and timing.

I still think it would never do this if i wasnt using an EBC as the requested boost on revo stage 2 isnt that high, especially when you compare it to other k03s'd cars like a Leons and A3's.

I need to get out and log it again soon tho as i think i might need to pull back the timing a little.

Anything you need me to try or log?

similar boost on this cc2 file. this one is without more timing dialed in..
CC2 asks for more boost i think than revo2. not bang delivery like MrsB lupo's revo1 hits.

I prefer revo1 hit @ times in terms of thump of low to mid torque, suits mrsB driving style where she does'nt rev it

whats the profec like to install and operate? been tempted to try one on a car.

Yeah i know what you mean on the revo stage 1, very punch with the higher than stage 2 requested down low.

Profec is very easy install and use just requires a vac feed for boost readings and +ve and -ve to the unit which feeds the solenoid which replaces the n75.

Options are,
Set gain or set boost (wg duty shown in %),
gain (boost consistancy, never really understood this as it seems to make no difference),
start boost(when the unit takes control of the WG),
warning(whatever boost you want a warning at)
limiter(used to lower boost when exceeds the limiter).

Alsi hi/low settings which you can switch on the fly is nice.

My settings are:

Set gain: 83%
Gain: 5% (lowest it will go)
Start Boost: 14.5psi
Warning: 23psi
Limiter 4%

Seems to run very nice with this indeed, any higher start boost and its spikes to high early on and surges. Could run more than 83% really.
