thats odd mate, as the 4bar is usually the last thing to go on, just before they map her. Well thats what happened with my car, 4bar put on just before the software went on. Myabe its over fueling?

Thought I'd post a few pics of her after a wash n polish ready for Ultimate Dubs! Nothing special, just Autoglym body shampoo and super resin polish...

Also pic of the bonnet bra to prove they DO look good on black cars. It was fitted for practical reasons...

Thanks! Yeah It was a good 6hours of elbow grease, didn't need to go to the gym that day!! UD was awsome, got myself some nice Dodo juice cleaning products. Can't wait to get cleaning next weekend! Got a few treats going on the car soon aswell, after today I'm inspired to get my car in the main exhibition arena of an event...

i use AG body shampoo, then super resin polish, then extra gloss protection, spent ages then it bloody rained (damn it lol)

Update regarding 4bar fpr. Speaking to the previous owner tonight and just before he bought it, it was running bigger turbo! GUTTED! I can only guess he sold it for funds??

Makes sense now as Alex from Backdraft worked on it before at TTS and said he was sure it had k03s with DP then.

Never mind, gives me something to work to...

I Hope Dodo's as good as every1 says as I spent £70 on the stuff! Need to get myself a clay bar as they'd run out.

Looks smart mate, black Mk3's certainly do rule If you're taking about when Dave owned it (before the previous owner you bought it from) then yes he did have a K03s, he never fitted it though, well thats what he told me when i bought it off him. Sorry!

Hmm Dave apparently told Aaron(azmk) it was fitted? Otherwise I don't understand about the fpr? Having said that, there's no receipt for having the k03s fitted unless he was handy with a spanner himself?

Well when i bought it, it was covered in dust and was still in the same box that Dave got it delivered to him in apparently, anyway thats by-the-by. I know he was having little things (FPR, downpipe) fitted before he had the K03s installed which was last on his list, then he sold the car, hence how it is now for you i should think.

Still there are plenty out there, i had to sell the turbo i bought from Dave a few weeks ago as i need the money for something else so am now looking for another myself. Keep up the good work though, black ones look smart

Sounds like he never got round to it then. Dave also gave a forge tip with it aswell, but again don't think it was fitted. Got a new one anyway as mentioned earlier on. I'm on the mooch for a dp next and turbo-back. Getting the outside sorted first and toying with a respray in the future due to stone chips and replacing a couple of panels.

Ok I apologise now, this seems to be turning into a bit of a polishing thread! I'm a bit obsessed with it at the moment! After my hard work on the saturday before Ultimate Dubs, the cupra came home looking like it'd been neglected for months!

This is relatively clean to what is was as I had to clean the rear window. I seriously couldn't see out of it and my wiper seems to have stopped working!
I purchased myself some Dodo products at UD and was dying to try them out! So guess what...

Fantastic stuff!! Used "born to be mild" shampoo, followed by "born Slippy" clay lube with Maguires clay bar, then "purple haze" soft wax.

The clay bar makes a hell of a difference to the swirl marks on a black car!

Also I picked these number plate surrounds up at UD. Think they look awsome, just need to order pressed plates now.

Still?? It's always run on 15mm spacers. It's probably about 50/55mm lower i would think?

Thanks tho, I'm real happy with the finish using the dodo juice. Cant recommend it enough, infact i keep giving it a stroke to feel how smoooooth it is! Bit worrying I know...

LOL! Mine's not on the standard of my old mk2 beefa so it's not worth showing just yet! Hasn't been washed properly since ownership...shameful I know!

Sun's been out recently, so once wheels are on, expect some post wash pics!
