Ibiza ko3s Poor Performance

Reet then people, I hope someone can help a fellow SCN member out.

This is from 20vtwy's Ibiza Cupra - met up with her today as she can't get VAG-COM to work on her laptop.

She has had a ko3s turbo put on, decat, n75j & recirc valve - custom remapped. Rolling road showed 225BHP (approx)

Since the lack of power occured she has replaced MAF (genuine), Coilpacks (genuine) & BOSCH Spark Plugs, the coolant sensor has also been replaced.

No one has cleared any faults so this is what was logged when I first hooked up VAG-COM.

well the first thing would be to clear all faults and see what comes back as to be fair them faults could have been there for along time and already had parts replaced to fix them

I cleared all the initial fault codes before the logs and when we had finished logging I did another scan of the fault codes and this is what we got.

Out of the 6 runs she did the car felt to be holding back loads!! It was hailing at the time of the 3rd gear runs and the traction light didnt activate once, it was only once on the way back down the hill the car actually accelerated like it should.

Thanks for today Chris, had more problems with the brakes (i think) on the way home. The handbreak light started flashing and a buzzer sounding, hoping this is to do with the ABS. Looked in the book when i got home and it said brake fluid low but looks fine to me.

On the second go with the fault codes did it say lamba sensors again i cant remember?

looks like you need to get the front left wheel off and take the sensor off and give it a good clean. Look if the wires aren't exposed either as thats what I had. The grinding noise is your ABS coming on

Thx for the spin out, I don't think we scared enough Sunday drivers so you will have to take me out again after your power problem is sorted. :p

The lambda error didnt come back up after I cleared it :think:

Are you sure the coolant temp sensor has been replaced? (Or did you go into the instruments block to clear the code originally?)

Hi Dave, we struggled to get the power runs to 6.5k, we managed more 5.5k - is this no good?

Ah, no, bugger!! I only went into the Engine block to clear the codes. I didnt go into the instruments block to clear the codes.

Can not clearing the fault make it still run crappy?

I've spotted a section in 115 which could be a power run - but the mapping of boost makes little sense and it seems to run very rich.....

Who mapped it?

I forget who mapped it but I will find out, she did say people comment on how much fire it spits out of the exhaust on the motorway - so this would back up it running very rich.
