Hmmm just wondering if they may get unwanted attention from the 5-0 if they're too bright. I did look at the 55w but going by everyone's comments it sounds as if the 35w bulbs are plenty bright enough. Hope so anyway as ordered now ;)

you dont need a relay i have bought about 8 hid kits from dianes shop not had a problem with any of them fitted them to leons, mk4 golfs, audi a4, honda civic , lexus and toyotas. the only time u need a relay is for bi-xenons which use the one bulb for high beam and dip beam by clicking forward to switch between but all seat cars have h7 as their dip beam so u shouldnt need a relay at all

Any pics? Theyre just plug an play into the standard bulb connector normally.

will post pics it is just a case of plug and play with most cars with the leon you have to drill a 25mm hole in the plastic holder to put the grommit through and its that easy and the difference is unbelievable but make sure u align ur headlight so they dont glare anyone especially the police, if ur not glaring anyone u wont get pulled over, best way to do this is to put ur car in front a garage or a wall and use the the white circles that turn to adjust ur headlights up or down these can be found just next to the headlight cover

Ive got two cars with hid's fitted, im just wondering what the OP is worrying about so seeing the kit might just clear it all up or help us point out what to do.

My latest hid kit has two flat blade connectors that push into the original electrical contact that connects to the back of the original bulb.

i got one of my 35w HID kits for just shy of £40 posted to me, the 60W HID kit is around £60 posted.

dont forget everything has 'gone up' in price due to the pound not being worth so much! ;)

personal oppinion is now 55w after fitting mine, but most people go with 35w.

what colour are you getting ?

5000k or 4300k will be good in 55w

6000K + i would say 35w.

also 6000k is nice as it has a blue tint to it, but if i where to buy dipped beam bulbs again, i would go with 5000k as the light output from them is much clearer than the 6000k.
