Not sure mate, i'll know tomorrow when i take them off. I did think the the super t's felt quite light though.

What tyre size you running on yours? I need four new tyres for the oz's. Have you got standard wheel bolts on them aswell?

Well I'm running extended bolt on the rear due to spacers, but standard otherwise to my knowledge. I'm running 195/45/16 so a tiny bit of stretch to tuck 'em under the arches! I assume yours are 7j? If the 90's don't fit, gimme a holla dude!

Yeah 16 x 7j et35, not sure if they're seat sport wheels but caliper clearance shouldnt be a problem. Just had a look and 205/45/16 is what they should have fitted, just need to get myself some softy tyres for them now, lol.

yeah they should be 205 buy hey, we all love a bit of stretch! Have a look on the inside of the rim as I seem to remember them having seat sport moulded? Did you say they've been refurbed, I notice one of the stickers is a bit wonky...?

Had a slight drama with the brembo's, got a problem with the brake lines so will get some more. On the plus side though, the brembo's fit under the d90's :funk: will have to move some of the wheel weights though.

So are going to use the brembos with your OZ's or D90's? The brebos will be more on show with the OZ's but he D90's really suit your car. Choices choices!

Good choice matey. When are you going to the ring? Made a promise to myself that I have to do that at some point in my life. How much does it work out at for the whole lot?

The ring has to be done! I also have a promise to go there aswell. I was supposed to be doing it this year but dont think it will be happening until next year, unless something is organised? It's not a particularly cheap trip when you look at all the insurance cover, break down cover (as most specifically don't support the ring) hotels, ferry, petrol, food etc etc. Trip of a life time tho!

Me and my mates have been talking about the ring for sometime. A mate of mine has a 240bhp starlet and the other a 380bhp 106 turbo so we're looking at soughting something out. I need a few more things for the car before i go there, need to do abit of researching about places to stay/insurance etc etc first though.

Awesome awesome car mate, great selection of mods and an absolutely stunning car. I would love to get my car detailed to the extent that yours is but I think my paintwork is just too shagged even for the best detailer out there (CHALLENGE for any detailers wanting to try their luck in the south west?!, id pay top dollar to get my car looking anywhere near as good as that).

Getting a lot of work done on my mk3 at the mo which modification wise should be almost identical to yours in terms of performance mods, brakes, suspension. Getting my car back next Saturday after fitting of K03s and CC stage 2 etc....exciting times.

Good choice going to the ring, been there 3 times already and going back again this year, bloody addictive....:p

Example of cost for me this year:

Accommodation for 4 nights is just under 90 pounds (staying in a lodge with 8 people and stuffing 4 more in - keeps costs super low!) boat was 20 pounds and petrol there and back around 100 pounds assuming you share costs with a passenger. Breakdown cover about 35 pounds. Say you do 10 laps this is about 160ish if you buy in bulk, Fuel there about 50-100 pounds, spending money say 100 pounds.

So all in (without track insurance) about 550-600 for a good trip.

Cheers oli, CC stage 2 is sooo much better than standard. You have a PM :)

Another minature update, went to the engineering workshop today and collected my re-faced g60 flywheel. Will order the new bolts from VW then a vr6 clutch kit and it will be already to fit :funk:

dont mean to be  stupid but that is with standard gearbox

Certainly is, replaces the standard dual mass flywheel for a smaller lighter single mass from the g60. Can then mate that up with a Vr6 clutch which should have no problems handling more power, just need to try and get a few more horses out of her ;)

What's actually happened to the paint? Has it faded badly? Or just isnt shiny?

This is what can be done with ovni paint
