Got my leon cupra tdi 150 remapped today an im lovin it!!!

It pulls like never before and the results are excellent,
no need to change down a gear in sixth for motorway overtaking and ive now got a second "kick" at just above 3000rpm.

It your thinkin about getting one done-DO IT-YOU WONT REGRET IT!

A great outcome for an excellent price too!!!! :D

I got mine done at AMD yesterday. You can really feel the difference.

Rolling road showed the car when standard as 179BHP (don't forget this should have been 150bhp) after remap at 192BHP and 320 lb/ft torque.

No probs :D

Its only upped the bhp by about 13bhp but the torque is up buy about 50 lb/ft, its also improved how and where the power comes in. Mucho smilies!! :funk:

WAs my next question too, thought the clutches were only fit for bout 290lbft before the torque started eating them? Only thing putting me off gettin my FR+ done!

I'm not sure to be honest, sometimes i think i can feel it slipping, but it felt like that before the remap. I will keep an eye on it and let you know. The power out of corners is fantatic!

It will slip in the not too distant future! Do your best not to floor it with low revs and it'll last longer. Start saving now though as it is the hidden cost of a remap to those levels of torque. My only advice is when you do replace it, do it properly and you'll only have to do it once (unlike me!). The Sachs kit is excellent and really does feel very much OEM - at a price £550 + fitting. You get what you pay for and there aint a cheap alternative.

290lbft is the absolute limit so the original won't last long. It is worth every penny though and I'd do it every time!!

They put a torque limiter on mine at 300 cause anything over that can sometimes, in the long run, ruin a clutch so just to be on the safe side......
