hello all i have a problam with my cupra, on some start ups the car gose in to limo mode (actuator fully open). when this happens i have to open the bonnet and pull the vac pipe of the actuator then connect it back up and all is fine. This happend again last night and i checked for fault codes but there wasnt any.

The other week a removed this second check vavle, that gose to the actuator, i know if i put that vavle back it will stop the problam, but the thing is that check vavle isnt ment to be there, so whats wrong???

The check valve is only not meant to be there if you properly did the n112 bypass (with resistors) did you do this?

and btw why is your acurator all the way open? it should be somewhere halfway. Better not to touch the acurator to increase boost...

when you do the bypass all your left with is from the lower pipe is through the one way valve to a T piece one pipe is connected to the top of dv and the other to the underneath of the inlet mani.

The top vac pipe goes to a T piece to two places one behind the charge pipe and one just under it if that helps atall.??

Well the second valve furthist right shouldnt be there but apart from that it looks ok.

Id do the bypass anyway just because it gets rid of some of the pipes and looks better..

How long does it go into this 'limp mode' for if you dont take the vac pipe off the actuator to close it?

because i cant hear the turbo and the exhaust note is a lot louder and pops when leting off. and yes only when its cold.

So you are giving it full boost when cold from driving off?

I bet if you left it about 1 minute you wouldnt have this 'problem'. This happens to lots of people. Been threads on it before. Iirc nobody was really sure why/what limits it but it was kind of decided its the ecu making sure you dont do any damage to your cold engine/turbo etc.

rite this happend to me again today. I left it like this for 20mins and the engine was up to temp but it still didnt give me my bost back till i pulled the piper of the actuator again so it let the vacum out so it could close, after that it has been fine.

Have you sorted the pipes in the bay and done the bypass yet?

Looking at the pic that looks a right mess, bound to be somthing there messing with your running.
