You'll get an engine management light unless its mapped out, like revo stage 2 etc...

I have said this quite a number of times before, but this isn't correct Phil.

As peachy said, IF you do get a code (which I have not seen happen yet, on my car or the other people I know that have one) then you can just weld a nut on top of the lambda hole, and screw the lambda sensor in that so it sits out of the flow.

A Decat will fail your MOT yes, but not give an engine management light

Im afraid a fair few ppl including myself, have codes thrown up. As mentioned above unless you have Revo Stage 2 you need some sort of spacer. The Wayne angle block is designed so that it screws into the hole for the second the lambda sensor and then the sensor screws into this

I do not hav a map and have driven it fine for over a year. Guess this is one of these things just like how people say the Golf GTI tip causes faults (which I have without codes) and the Golf/TT decat downpipe not fitting (which I also have fitted)

welcome dai. But mind, I'm not saying its not possible to get a code. You might....but then weld a nut like I said.

Actually this is correct but it is map, ecu and sensor dependant. Seen alot of 1.8ts with decat throw codes for the second lambda.
