Gutted for you mate. As said at least you know what's happening. Gotta be lucky to get stuff off it, goto your own bodyshops etc, sort the trailoring out for it, etc, then still be sneaky ;x

Any ideas what's coming next?

Id love a Lupo GTI and fully euro it like hell,
But then being its a 2005 or whatever, that puts me off
When i could go get a Golf GTI or something quite new

Defo a pocket rocket :)
Would love one but only a 2005 one as id want as new as i can go really

Ive got huge plans for the lupo if i did get one, but ive been told they arent that fast, compared to the 1.2 they would be obviously but when playing with the big boys they might not be?

Then my other choice was to go brand new and get a polo/golf gti or something?
The insurance would kill me, but this time next year itll be cheaper, ill be 21 plus it'll be another year of experience added to the insurance & driving.
But this time round im really wanting to push it and get the best of what i can get.

My main plan for the lup would be the polo gti engine in it... but dont know really how hard that'd be and if it'd be worth it in the end. And how much a difference it would make?

Don't knock derv 'til you've tried it. I'm playing with the idea of a 1.8T next but would go back to derv without hesitation also ;)

I heard a derv ibiza going through a carpark the other day, was a cupra derv

And i actually burst out laughing when i heard it, how can folk say its quiet?
It was an 07 plate and sounded like there was a transit hiding in the bushes revving his engine

I really really couldnt go derv lol

I don't think they sound like transit vans at all, the engine sounds very unique to me, can tell them from others ;)

Listen to the exhaust note in my project thread, they don't always sound bad - but who cares when you're in the car anyway? Only time you could tell it was a diesel was at idle :)
