It might have already been changed then... It's 8 years old.
yes its a difficult job mate, and you really need to have the water pump done also, its not really a diy job.
no thats all in mate, rough price based on independant garage for cambelt service costs, dealer will be closer to 500 plus
Oh that's not too bad I suppose then Are there any real benefits from new cambelt and water pump other than preventing further damage if the old one went?
The car came with basically a cover note from a Seat dealership manager saying the car has had full dealer servicing up to 55k miles. After that, there is nothing I'm afraid. I've owned the car since September.
