I learned my lesson this time, i reinforced the box, new cable and new clutch .

My MK2 Polo tailights used to stop working until you gave them a good thump! Nice to see some old traditions die hard.

The dash used to be the same, mind you MK2 Ibiza's were cobbled together with bits of old VW so it kinda makes sense

polo tail lights? surly the mk2 polo ones dont fit!

you know you have a mk2 16v when...you pull away from the lights and stretch it's legs just a little and wonder if you jumped a red light as the traffic seems too far back all of a sudden

you know you have a mk2 when...even with a trapped nerve in ya back you still spend a cold wet night changing the headlamp bulbs to hid as you can't see with those stoopid morrette lamps installed and neighbours wonder why you are sat in the road flicking ya lights on and off every 10 mins

I would say so, my old cordy took its self for a wonder down the street.

If the rear disks are hot when you put the handbrake on they contract as they cool, meaning the handbrake is no longer on.
