Ordered myself a new K04 to replace the one currently on my LCR, it started making funny noises:(, and it turned up today but something inside me is saying I've recieved the wrong one. :confused:The part no is K5304-988-0022 and its marked as a k04-022.
Is this correct for my LCR 225bhp or should I be boxing it back up??

It should be ok, check that it has the small port for the egt sensor tapped into it.
make sure you fit your forge actuator to the ko4 before you fit it as its almost impossible to fit after the turbo's been fitted.
K04-20
K04-22
K04-23
all the same turbo except for the egt sensor. :)

I bought a hybrid turbo which was a k04-20....... no egt tapping. (machined one in by turbo reconditioning firm)
i was under the impression that the early 210 cupra r's were k04-022 which included the sensor tha same as the early 225 TT's.
post up a pic of your new tubby and lets see if its any good.

I've never done one,
If the sensor hole isn't there you could take it to a machine shop and ask them to tap one for you. From memory its a T3 thread.
