Alright team!

Been away for a while from the forum.....bought a pug 106gti that had been modified to go at silly speeds, but now it's written off thanks to some nice girl in an Audi A2 who ran into me

Anyways, back to matters in hand in the 2 months I had the pug I never managed to sell my Arosa so it's back on the road now and I fancy spending a wee bit of money on it. Quite fancy an induction kit but do not know what to go for. Any ideas? Its a 2002 model 1 litre beast!

Thanks guys

Whatever you do, do your research before you buy an induction kit. Do not buy a cheap jobbie off of ebay as you may end up doing more damage than good.

Hi there

Couldn't agree more - after purchasing stuff from the Bay of E for my MR2 and it turning out to be carp I definatley suggest doing your homework before spending your hard earned.

No insult meant here but do you really think it's worthwhile spending money on engine mods for a 1.0L? I've got the same motor and dont intend spending any money on upgrading my engine, there only so much much it can achieve after all.

I don't see much of a point either - you'll never get much power out of it without basically race-tuning it like a bike engine...

I've fitted a Green Cotton filter to mine, make sure I always use NGK spark plugs, but that's about as far as the engine mods go!
