Power loss every once in a while??

I have a power surge ever so often like when pulling out of jct it feels like its miss firing? and the other day when I put my foot down it seemed to miss fire when just changing gear and applying the throttle? does this mean the coil pack is on its way out?

Sounds like it, might be worth swapping each coil pack with a new one to find out which one has failed...if it is indeed the coil pack.

Normally shows up as a misfire,if it logs a fault. this usually comes with the engine check light ,when it goes,but you'll know it when it does go.

they sit on top of each spark plug to supply the current to make the spark,which burns the fuel.
When one fails,it causes that cylinder not to work at all,and the car runs on 3 cylinders only.
