bad petrol smell

not been on ere 4 a while not realy had a problem until nah...i started my car other day and it realy smelt of petrol,i dnt av a leak but the car was nearly stalling its done this afew times nah but there is no engine light on...fanx 4 replys

sounds like coil packs.. hav a search very common n loadsa info about them.

I have recently had a Lambda/ Oxygen sensor replaced and this was due to my bad petrol smell and stuttering. This solved my problem but i only knew it was that when my engine light came on and had it diagnosed. Best of luck

fanx 4 that i did notice abit of oil on 1 of my coils when i changed my plugs afew wks ago
but got told it wasnt much 2 worry about...but i will av aluk cheers

ive had a lambda sensor and airflow sensor replaced afew months ago when my engine light was on showing those 2 faults...not changed the 1 in the cat though

fanx 4 your quote i changed my coil pack it was burnt inside where it connects to the sparkplug...
its running 100% nah...cheers
