Its slightly drony I find on the motorway.

apparently the APR RSC exhaust has all the benefits of a non resonated system, but without the drone inside the car. I would seriously consider that.

Yeah after i spoke with you DanBG i made an enquiry in to the APR RSC system and it doesnt fit the cupra is made for the Golf

you guys have any other exhust system suggestions that are similar to the APR RSC?

My Leon has a milltek exhaust for the MkV GTI, so surely the APR fits the Leon as well?

After I spoke to you, I was speaking to an APR dealer in Croydon who was singing the benefits. Sounds good :)

Zboyd and Chrisboyle999 are both running APR systems. I know Z's isn't the RSC system, not sure about Chris. Can't see why one would fit and not the other.

i gave awsome gti a call to order it and i carnt remeber who i spoke to but he said that the RSC system is designed for the Golf, as they have already tired to fit a RSC system on the cupra and it wouldnt fit, and they had to fit the stealth system instead

doesnt fit, seen it with my own eyes. rear box/bumber interference is the problem.
awesome jim couldnt really believe it either. i ended up with the stealth, same as z.

Shame, especially as they seem to be looking to phase out the stealth system in favour of the RSC. Yours was the one that they had the problem with, then?

I didn't find the noise of Z's too intrusive but he did point out that it has a drone to it that I thought might wind me up on a long motorway journey. How do you find it?

its not too bad at all really, but louder/dronier than the oem. some people will no doubt prefer it as its a common complaint that the oem on the cupra is too quiet.

i got the hpfp and map at the same time, and to be honest, when you cane it the last thing on your mind is the noise! things start whizzing by very fast in no time at all.

not tempted yet mark?

Been tempted since before I collected the car in April :)

Just being really, really good so far. I kind of got bored with spending money on cars that there was no way of recovering come resale time. I got a decent trade-in price for my last car, as long as you ignore the £1500 I spent on suspension and map...

That said, I'm going to have to do something before long, otherwise I'll have the lowest powered Mk2 Cupra at the next RR day. :D

i know its money down the plug at the end of the day, but hey, were only here the once.
if life was a ciggy we'd all smoke it to the filter!

How much difference to power output does a new exhaust make- they are usually very marginal unless part of a much more radical package.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=DHgv4-TppPk

...so i messgaed the guy saying i spoke to this company here in the uk and they said the APR RSC doesnt fit the cupra so how did you get it to fit and he repiled

" hello from greece...
i think that the people in that company are stupid..
it fits exactly as the golf gti.
i just went to a local exhaust center and placed it in 15 minutes...." sooo im left :S

had this rely from jimbo regarding the RSC exhaust for the cupra.

"No, the only option is the twin 75 mm round tips. Also we can only offer the non RSC system for the Leon cupra models as the rear box design fouls on the Cupra bumper. The non RSC system sounds great anyway! Works great with the APR fuel pump and stage 2 software- Ask Zboyd and Chris Boyle! "

so from the horses mouth RSC system does not fit the Cupra.
