Had a Milltek Cat-Bak fitted to my Cupra at the weekend. All I can say is that everyone should get one as it transforms the car with the sound it makes and it's much more fun to drive:D:lol:

I decided to do the Cat-Bak Non-Resonated before buying a full system which are a hefty £1k.

My aim was to make my Cupra sound better and enchance the looks at little bit more.

The Cat-Bak has ticked all the right boxes and I would highly recommend anyone buy this quality product.

I had such a grin on my face on Saturday. My Dad even enjoyed driving my car, who hates the ride, although loves the car....He said it's even better than before.

I'm glad I picked the non-resonated system as it's not intrusive at all. The car isn't boy racer sounding either.

The Cupra should have sounded like this from the factory.

Knew you would like it bud :)

When funds allow, you need to consider the 3" downpipe too for a deeper note again, more turbo whistle and most importantly, quicker spool and a few more bhp ;)

Hey

Is that the same size as the standard cupra zorst? I like the current one as it fills the hole nicely, that one looks maybe a tad smaller?

What was the cost? any chance you could upload a vid with the new sound? :)

Good to hear another person enjoying the noise! I am so pleased I changed over to the non-res system.

Just realised i got no speakers at work lol.

Yeah it looks a little low and lop-sided.. any pics of yours mate? Have you got the same as the OP?

Yep I do. I have serial number 001 - Millteks first Leon Cupra 2.0T turbo back system with the 3" downpipe. They used my car to develop the Cupra system :).

No pictures to hand just now though, sorry. I know mine is nowhere near that shiny though!

The sound is totally addictive:D:D.... I used to love the rumble of of Boxer Engined Impreza years ago.

I think I will keep a low profile with the other half at the moment as I've already spent just of £2k in the last month on the car:blink:

The Milltek Oval is slightly larger than the standard one and the costs is just over the £400 mark for the non-restonated one.

I see what you mean about it looking a bit low and lop sided. It looks fine when walking past the car...strange illusion:blink::confused:

Not intrusive or boomy with the non resonated centre section :)

Its slightly drony I find on the motorway.

apparently the APR RSC exhaust has all the benefits of a non resonated system, but without the drone inside the car. I would seriously consider that.

Cheers Dan , have heard some good things about the APR zorst.
only thing putting me off is the twin pea shooters , would ideally like to have the oval exit.
Do you know if they are or planning to have the oval exit?

I did the same as you, had a Non res Cat back Milltek fitted by JKM last week, car is soo much more responsive, cant believe that and a green cotton air filter fitted by them has made such a difference. Great sound and totally addictive.

..... Although i own an Edition 30 DSG, and not a Seat:whistle:

:D

been there, tried it, doesnt fit. ended up with the apr stealth, same as zboyd.

i find it drones a bit but i didnt buy the exhaust for how it sounds but what it does.

I would love to hear an APR system in the flesh to compare it to the Milltek. Z tells me its like a jet and somewhat louder than the Milltek. For sure, looking at the routing it takes, its a lot more direct than the milltek and has a much smaller silencer :D
