Those S3 seats look stunning!!

Is fleabay the best place to be looking? What are the chances of being able to get a decent set from breakers etc?

I drive a 180 and the seats are not electric etc. would i have any complications if i were to try and fit these into my cupra or would they drop straight in?

They would drop straight in and all you will need is a live and neg feed i also have a set of plugs for the power if anyone wants them.:D

I've been told the rears should fit but the 5 door rears are a better fit than the three door, going to give them a clean and then try them. Will let you know.

Just disconect the battery and unplug and remove old seats replace with new ones and re-place Golf plug with Seat one, this is the difficult bit you either cut the ones off your lcr Seats or find a set from a scrappers.
The heated seats are a different story, hopefully you got the plugs with the golf seats, you need a set of switches leon or MK 4 Golf, there is a wireing diagram on here some where if you cant find it i can send you a copy, you then have to make a loom its fairly straight forward i will be doing mine in the new year i have found a company that sell the wire in the oe colours so just need to make sure i order the right type then its toastie bum time.:D

I can confirm that the three door recaros fit the rear, fitted them this afternoon - still trying to pluck the courage to have a go at the fronts, airbags scare me.

Do the S3 seats fit onto a leon seat frame?? how would the heated ones be wired, could do it myself with a diagram. Also what type of switch is most common to use and the location of where to put it would be good if anyone can help??

Pretty sure the Leon Recaros are the same as the Golf ones shown in MDS's pics.

they are, i've got them in my cupra 4, although the inserts are cloth, rather than leather

although mine have the Cupra logo embossed above Recaro [B)]

The S3 seats bolt straight in, the heated seats are fairly easy to connect up, you will need to make a loom, i have a wiring diagram if you are interested, the switches you need will have to be the Leon ones as the S3 and Golf ones don't fit in the surround, all the plugs are the same though, i got the plugs for the seat end with the seats, the switches go in the slot with the cup holder in it.

There was a thread on here for seatdoctors that did retrims for around £400 in leather, that way they would be new, that was my plan anyway
