Ibiza Battery Case / Cover

Hi,

I am looking at upgrading the engine bay a little bit, i have a FR petrol, and am wanting to get the battery cover / Case from the first picture (car is a Cupra TDI) Below is a comparissoon picture if this helps.

You need to go to the stealers and ask them.
Not sure how much though so porbably not much help

You can spray paint the plastic covers to make them look nicer.
Plastic primer
Colour
Laquer

It looks the same as the petrol battery cover so I guess it would fit.

I looked into this, they is no battery box for the diesels because of the bigger battery and the fuse box on top of the battery. The only thing they suggested was used a polo's box but they could not guaranty it would fit. I still have the polo lid that looks the same.

I too have the one that looks the same as the top on my TDI 130 sport.

My Polo TDI 100 also had exactly the same

They always seem to snap !

i think its a year change thing as the later car have a huge fuse box thing on top of the battery

No was confused as to why you said there is no battery box for diesels when there is a pic of one above your post. It is not even a year thing there is no pattern to random lil bits on these cars some people have and some do not such as a boot light and whether you have silver TDi lettering on the engine covers or not, my FR has silver letters whereas some FR's have red letters stupid Seat! MY car has a fuse box over the battery too still has a box and lid.

yes they are bigger and they fill the battery box as in the pic in post no1, the smaller batterys will fit in with room to spare for your hid ballast.

hmm, so does anyone have a battery cover on their petrol FR?

Yep, got one on mine, there is space in there for one of my HID ballasts, it has the smaller battery as it's the petrol model. you can see the HID wiring coming out of the box.

Have a look for you laters, say that it will be dark by the time I get home, I will try I take you have the case around it just not the lid?
