Like the look of the Pioneer HU, being as i've not got the large mfd i'm liking the added bonus of a fully integrated bluetooth phone & its voice activated too.
For an extra £30 you can add full Ipod connectivity, so you wouldn't need the hard drive option, aslong as you have an Ipod that is.
I'm not that technically minded when it comes to ICE installations, so if anyone can answer a couple of questions:
The Seat MFD3 is plug & play, is the Pioneer that simple too, or would i need to change any wiring?
Would the steering wheel controls still work when an aftermarket HU is fitted?

Should be pretty much plug and play. You will prob need an extra module to make the steering wheel controls to work on the HU. Have a search on the forum as a few of the guys here have already done it before.

p.s. I have an Alpine HU on mines but don't have the steering wheel controls.
