Took delievery of a leased 0003 milage FR550 on Friday. So far not really too impressed.
Got told that I gotta wear in the engine and for the first 1000 miles I shouldn't take it above 3k revs. Ok fair enough.
So there I am driving around and around and aroundthe M25 trying to clock it up to 1000 miles and the friggin DPF light comes on after doing just 351 miles!
Anyway, drove it in fourth at 60 for 5mins and it sorted it. It has not come on since then.
Now I have been told by some people the best way to wear it in is to shag the car sensless, whereas others have told me for the first 800 - 1000 miles not over 3k revs, then for the next 500 miles gradually start shaggin the car.
What do you guys think?
