Squeaking suspension

I have noticed that on my 03 lc the rear suspension seems to squeak every time I get in and out the car. Is this another fault developing? I'm planning on changing the suspension anyway.

It almost sounds like the spring is squeaking when its been compressed.

Have the same problem with mine - last MOT said springs were rusty. The squeak sorted itself though.

I seem to have a very similar problem to this. There is a bit of a squeak coming from both sides at the rear, but is worse driver side.

You can hear it a little whilst driving but more so when you just get in and out the driver side (and I know I've get to shed my xmas pounds, but it ain't that ).

Not very technical on the mechanics side (only just beginning to get to grips with the engine side) - is there an easy way to sort this like pack some grease or spray something (anything in particular?) at some part of the suspension?

hi mate i had this before an turned out to be brake pads, dont ask how but try getting in an out the car with the handbrake off an then on really tight an see if still does it, if it does spray the bushes on suspension with wd40 an see if squeeking,,,,,, i may be wrong but worked with me
