Anyone got these fitted?

Just read the Evo tyre test and got excellent review - cheaper than most and look lovely too.

Goodyear's new F1 Asymmetric seems to be taking top honours everywhere though.

Currently got Pirelli P Zero Nero's and although they are grippy enough they seem to be getting rather noisy!?

Read somewhere that the Sessanta is aimed at SUV's. Micht be wrong though..

Had the standard ultrac for a month or so and more than happy!!! Much better than the Pirelli Nero's IMO.

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta

I bought a set for my car recently, i only paid 130 for the pair (245/45/17)
I was under the impression that at that price they were a budget tyre, how wrong was i.
Loads of developement. A very good tyre for the money.

I've just oredered a pair of these for my R32 should hopefully be arriving tomorrow. I paid £95 per tyre for 225/40/18. I've read nothing but good reports about them!

I'm thinking of getting a set of these tyres too, I've read only very good reviews about them and they are cheaper than the Goodyear F1 Assy I've got fitted at the moment.

The only thing that puts me off is that the side wall alloy protection doesn't appear to offer the same protection as the Goodyear F1 Assy.

In front of a PC....
Heard nothing but good things about the Sessanatas. Think I will be getting these when the time comes to replace my Dunlop Sport Maxx. They also have a good rim protector too.

what's the wear rate like on them? The F1 assymetricals i've got on the back at the moment are great tyres but i can see signs of wear already (after 3k miles)

I'll be getting my new 19" BBS CK's next week with these tyres on so should be good all round package. Read ZBOYD's report on them as he has them.

I've got them on my 19" BS CKs. Have clocked up 10k mostly motorway miles in about 5 months and they are still looking good for another 3k or so.

so pretty bad for wear then

That's just trait of this Mk2 chassis, pushes the tyres into the road so well they wear out faster it would seem.

Don't do a great deal of mileage myself, but I've had the Vredestein's on for around 9 months and they are wearing well. But the fronts are certainly wearing much faster than the rears, might have to swap front to back soon to even it out. I reckon 10,000 miles is probably a good estimate really for most performance tyres on the Mk2.
