Yellow LCR going in for respray

checked it out,iv been told 'lambo' yellow is just another basic yellow colour used on the colour charts, a standard 2pack paint.not really special to the average joe.
joe bloggs walks down the street and sees a lambo yellow cupra,he wont really notice the difference compared to onvi yellow.the only people who would probly notice it is of course us,the seat enthusiasts.
so iv ruled out lambo yellow a while back.and orange because i would have to inform the dvla,and insurance would want to know etc.so which leaves liquid yellow which is noticably different to onvi yellow methinks.

Mate you will still need to let the insurance know if you change the colour of yellow. If someone hits you and their insurance company are doing the work, they could refuse to do it as you have not declared the colour change. Or at very best paint the damaged panel Ovni and the rest would be liquid.
Get focus orange its so nice :O and this it will look ace on the leon

yeah i know i will have to mention that to them.i usually try to avoid insurance at all costs coz i do NOT want to risk losing my ncb at all costs.but knowing that it could be inevitable,im going to switch to greenlight at renewal and tell them about it.
i really WOULD do orange,dont get me wrong,they look sexy in orange...but i dont know if it is a good move....i dont know

ask him too photoshop your car that colour mabey??Stick with Ovni yellow, my cupra is that colour and like yours has faded really badly and i hate seeing it but it costs so much for a respray though. I'd stick with ovni yellow its such a nice yellow and no insurance problems or anything and you don't see many ovni yellow cars that all the panels match so yours will be different in that way.
booked my car in for the respray for tomorrow.i will decide on the colour at the last minute. pics will be up afterwards.thanks for all the input peeps

aaaahhH!!!!dont chuck colours at me!!!i rrreally wanted orange but i really dont know...i think itd be best to keep it a yellow base... i tossed a coin for standard/liquid yellow,best out of 3 liquid yellow won hmmmmmm....
