DV leaking?

Hi there! Im wondering if I have a boost leak? I went for the rolling road yesterday, and it made 242hp/343nm but, according to vagcom it's peak boosting at 1,5bar.

I'm suspecting the DV for leaking, my question is therefore, can vagcom measure if I have a boostleak? I reckon there is something about requested boost and actual boost? Are those values "normal"?

I've logged the channel 115.

I am though still able to go from 80-120 kph in 4.th in 3.9 sec and 100-150 in 5.th in 5.7 sec. The cars feels quick enough?

Try doing a power run and log requested Vs actual boost and post the results.

according to the above the last 2 sets of numbers are your boost req/act

until you reach 3k you dont seem to be getting the requested boost ... after this its much better.

did you log this foot to the floor? no expert here btw

Group 115 and 031 are the ones you need, I think.

im wondering if its sticking. can you get hold of another or original and swop over?

Take it off and check it, push the inside up then cover the nipple and see if it stays up, if it doesn't time for a new DV.

I had the same problem with my DV30 (sticking). Sent it off to Bailey and still the same problem. They even sent me a new one and it still had the problem

I'm running a Forge 007p now and its so much better

Its a Bailey DV30 mate.

even if you get a service kit for a bailey its not going to stop it sticking through heat.

id pm dave or bill with the logs as they know their stuff. his log is more detailed but looks more consistant over 2500 rpm

No, havent been on that dyno, or any dyno for that sake of matter! But is wouldt exspect over 242 hp/343nm when boosting at 1,5 bar, but may'be i'm just unrealistic?
