opinions on remaps to cupra

im thinking of getting my cupra 180 remapped to 210bhp. just thinking is it worth the £300 and does it make the 0-60 time any better.

its all about progressive torque band and driveability.

loads and loads of threads on maps on here, do a search.

re remaps.. id pay £1000 if i had to for a remap.

sports cat and dp will add about 10bhp... which will be hard to feel on the road, and costs more.
remap adds 30-50bhp ... which you will feel. as the engine is more tuned it will feel more alive and enjoyable to drive... and of course faster

run the car on v power or similar for a couple of tankfuls before you have it mapped, get it mapped somewhere where they know our cars and you get on with them.. rare theres issues but if they`re an experenced tuner will be able to sort it

Just make sure you have a spare MAF and coilpacks - my MAF died about a month after remap

I'll vouch for P-Torque - had a map as part of the GB they did - absolutely amazing now (180 Cupra upto about 215bhp and 250lb/ft with map and induction kit) - Will is friendly, helpful and very very knowledgeable - great place and great work, certainly worth every penny

Yes, we can fit your exhaust too. Is it full system or cat back?

fantastic,

ive got the milltek downpipe/cat and a supersprint back box,

there's currently a pipercross induction kit on there too though hopefully should be changed for the Carbonio CAI in the next few weeks when i get round to fitting it,

A full exhaust is £100 all in to fit
