Hello guys,
I have a 2002 Skoda Octavia 1.8T with 41,000 Kms. Since the Leon use the same engine, maybe you guy can help me. My Engine is factory stock. Does not have any mod to the car computer or chip.
My problem is that when I am driving and then stop for example at a red light the RPMs drop for a few seconds to around 600 then the engine vibrates and then the RPM rise to normal level around 1000. This happen very fast in a few seconds and I note it because the engine vibrates for the low RPM.
This happend every time I stop at a red light, or at a cross or when ever I need to stop.
Also, this only happend with the A/C on.
I Took yesterday the car to the Skoda dealer and drive the car with one of the mechanics in order that he saw the problem.
Today I call him and he say he does not find any code on the VAG computer. He toll me also that he found that the Throttle Valve Butterfly was dirty and he will going to clean it and drive the car to see if the problem go away.
I need to call them tomorrow.................... BUT what you think is the problem? Maybe you guys can give me a Tip in order to help the Skoda mechanic to fix my issue.
THX for your time and help,
Isaac
