Cheers MDS - glad you like the work so far. :)

Advantages are me having a big smile.

Bonnet seal stops most of the fine dust from settling on all the black plastics under bonnet, only have to wipe it down every couple months now instead of every 3-4 weeks.

SFS hose kit looks smooth, and gives slightly less lag. Oh and my low RPM vibrations (I thought was DMF shudder) have almost gone now. So feels much smoother at low RPM.

Erm........badly mounted at the mo.

Its basically sat between the battery and the large coolant hose, the coolant hose is trapping it in place and it doesnt move at all.

There was a bracket to mount it to something flat but I never fitted it.

p.s - I may take the catch can out as today I checked my oil level which was down, so got some oil and went to top up.

Took the filler cap off and the entire cap was covered in mayonaise. Not loosing any coolant so not a failed gasket - but i've never had a car that has mayonaised up before.

Now its either because of the catch tank, or because the catch can filter is right next to the oil filler cap and moisture is finding its way into the filler cap (but i doubt it as the filler cap is air tight?)

I have got this too, I'm thinking it's down to a duff oil cap seal

Aaaaah, not just me then.

It never used to do it, just noticed it this time on topping-up.

I'm going to suck some oil out from the dipstick tube on Monday at work and test it for Sodium just to make sure I aint got a tiny coolant leak (doubt it though as my coolant level hasn't changed since I bought it)

Might order myself one of the AwesomeGTI oil filler caps, see if the problem goes away.
