Will this jetex filter fit in the gap? what size is the pipe 70mm?

yeh pipe work is 70mm, hmm might be a tad big really, its the angle the pipe goes into the wing really that makes the problem, mine was a squeeze to get in as you have to put the pipe in the wing and then get under the car to put the filter on.

As you can see its huge and sounds awesome. That box in the first pic is bigger than a shoe box so you can see how big it is and best of all its MAF friendly

that is indeed mahoosive, and tested to be maf friendly.

Just think about the simple math equasion:

cheap airfilter 4 quid.
Maf replacement 70 quid

total cost 74 quid plus all the irritation of finding the buggered maf.

Or

1 x huge jetex for...(need you help there myki lol) but sure its less than 74...

i have a massive jetes and just hoping it will fit!

would definitely stay jetex even if i had to get a smaller cone, price is awesome, and they sound amazing

and as you say maf friendly

i got a powertec one from AMD and its very MAF friednly been on th car ages no nasty problems.
although that intake pipe is a total ******* to fit took me hour to get it in there then find out my filter dont fit in my anger i just ripped it straight back out how much do you seriously need to cut the pipe down by?

iirc i cut approx 6-8 inches

kinda difficult for us to say i would imagine. Have a look see and cut little bits at a time...until you get it right...
