if u give the seat dealer u chassis number and your details they will b able to give u a replacement key to open the doors manualy with the locks that came standard with the car.

i know this because i locked a fiat punto with the keys in it in my work ( garage ) so cost me about £10
if you read the first post he can't use a key in either lock;)

easy way....

get a spare battery - climb under the car & connect to the +ve battery terminal (it's on the side you can reach)

you might need to use a coat hanger etc.

once connected to +ve connect the -ve to the sump / engine / earth of the car

then hit the 'open' button on the key.

worked for me when I did the same

RIGHT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE AS UNFORTUNATE AS I WAS TO GET IN THIS SITUATION LISTEN UP.

This method is sound easy and takes five minutes lol. Well i went to check on my car two days ago and some f**** smashed in my driver window. Not caved in but definitely summin to add to the list. Anyways i hope ya dont mind i refined the method.

Get a spare set of jump leads and rip off the claws if ya were like me and coudnt reach jus connect them to a working set of jump leads. connect to a running car battery (doesn't matter if running i guess but easier for the jump) click open and presto. Then pop the hood cpnnect the second working jump leads for a few seconds and your started.

I dont wanna go on but well little story behind this. While i was doing all this is a populated area there was already commotion as a bookies fire alarm was going off as the upstairs flat burned a bit of toast i dunno but then two fire engines appeared.

Well when i started my car i forgot how loud the exhaust was and with a car parked about a metre behind it which didnt help it was hellishly loud, it set off the car alarms beside it (stupid multitone alarm systems), soon all of the street was at its windows, people out waching and pointing(summin like 100 flats)....i drove my car with its smashed window in shame lol

But its garaged till Feb as needs work and modification to bring it back to glory, thanks all for the advise but m0rk;2124072's idea definately the easiest
