Wireless AA - Update head unit to 5ghz

Hi all.

Looking for some advice on trouble shooting my wireless AA connection issues.

Since I bought the car a couple days ago I've been trawling the internet trying to find why my wireless AA wont work. Wired works fine but it just won't wirelessly connect.

The car is a 70 plate and I found some people mentioned that the head unit needed to unlock from 2.4ghz to 5ghz. I've checked the wifi connection and it's showing as 2.4ghz.

Some have mentioned that this can be done in OBD11? Is it worth contacting the a dealership or will any local garage with OBD be able to do this?

Thats great, How much would you charge? tbh your about 2 hours drive away - long shot but is it possible to do remotely?

Mine is actually the same been back to dealer 4 times and they can't get this feature to work . I'm in Cornwall so ABIT far to travel same question as above if I purchased the reader to do this how much for you to advise me through it ? Or is there any other way ?
