Hi, I would consider:-
painting the dipstick tube black and the dipstick handle red
Water cap red instead of blue
Oil cap red (or get the TT cap)

Maybe a volt meter for the battery and.......sorry i'm thinking about mine now. Looks really professional well done.

Oh that's what I was going to ask. Adam, did the strut brace go on no problem? I thought the chipbox on mine would cause an issue
Yer the brace went on so easy really iv had it off a few times i just keep greasin the bolts up so they go alot easyer but when ya want to change your air filter ya have to undo one end and lift it up.Hopefully havin a rear brace made soon.not to shaw if ya chip box will be in way theo

cool thanks! Someone said you have to a certain type of primer on the plastic and I have no clue what grades of sandpaper. I want mine gloss black. Cheap ol mod too!

I think you will have to use plastic primer which is used on bumpers cause the engine moves alot.
For findin the right sand paper you dont want anything that is really ruff cause its only plastic.il have a word with my mate see what he used.
My mate is sprayin my oil cap coolant cap and washer bottle cap on monday for me there goin red
My mate was ment to start makin my rear strutt brace today but ran out of time.
Dont no if anyone noticed on the pics iv polished my bonnett stay was a gold colour im a bit sad really:D

Did my engine and battery covers recently.
Remove covers and scrub with hot water with a little bit of fairy liquid to remove any grease or oil then rinse and dry. I used those green scotch brite pads as they rough up (key) the surface at the same time.
Scrub again with anti-static wipe (panel wipe) to make sure there is nothing in the surface that will lift the paint.
Plastic primer, couple of "light" coates 15mins between each.
Leave about an hour to let the solvent come out.
Colour, 2-3 "light" coates 15mins between each.
Leave over night to harden.
Laquer, 3 "light" coates 15mins between each.
Ive only used light coates to avoid runs and to minimize the risk of the paint cracking over time.
I used halfords aerosols 300ml, 1 of each, primer, colour, laquer.
They look really good i think and cost me £17 :)

Hope this helps
