Dan that's great info thanks did you not use wet and dry as well or just them wipes? I presume they have them in halfords.
Well you would normaly use wet n dry to key the surface so the paint can adhear to it but as it is soft plastic and scratches easily i just used the scotch bright pads when cleaning to take the glossy finish off the plastic and key the surface a the same time 
They looked grey by the time i was ready for primer. You can probably get panel wipes from halfords or just get a bottle of panel wipe and some lint free cloth to wipe it down with. The panel wipe is the last step as it takes any grease out of the surface as even the grease from your fingers may let the paint peel. Once wiped with panel wipe leave for a few minutes for the solvent to come out of the plastic, it is pretty much all solvent so shouldnt take long.
If you want anymore info just ask.
Also a good tip is to leave the cans in some warm water for a bit before doing it and spray in a warm, wind and dust free place.

I couldnt explane it as good as that cause my mate did mine at work for me it was alot quicker due to usin a paint gun and leavin it in the oven to dry put some pics up like to see what you done.
Thinkin of paintin the slam pannel in summer when i have the front end painted
I like the idea of paintin the alternator body prob do that gloss black

Thanks for all the instructions Dan will give this a go sometime I think sounds like a bit of fun and not to bothered if it's not perfect or I'd get someone at work to do it for me. Cheap mod really be good to do before Chrimbo when can't spend much but I'm bored!
Im thinking of doing my strut brace aswell, maybe black or silver ?
Ive got a bit of a mixture at the moment of red and blue bits, red brakes, strut brace, stitching on seats etc. Then blue hoses on intercooler and for boost gauge. I reckon im gonna try and loose the red in teh bay and go for black and silver.
Its good cos whilst its raining ai can just push the TVR out the garage and spray in there where its nice and warm The TVR loves being out in the rain haha.
