Hi This is my beezer. I got it a couple of weeks ago and lovin it! My best car before this was a T reg Vectra 1.8LS so this has been a bit of a jump up. Done a few things to it -

- Debadged
- Revo Remap - dunno the bhp yet
- Green Cotton air filter
- silver front indicator bulbs
- LED side lights (Rubbish, i'm changing them asap)
- Front aero wipers

Thinking about doing

- Polo rear wiper
- facelift honeycomb vents next to lights
- HID kit
- rear spacers
- colour coded sides.....but it Black! to match the wing mirrors
- LED bulbs for the interior lights, how did peope get the red lights there?
- install lights for the boot! why aren't there any!!!

I would like to get the colour coded rub strips for the black car so black on red. Instead of grey-ish matt plastic on red. Tell me if I'm talking out my arse

Thanks Tom, I will have to upload how bad the stone chipping is at the front and then we'll see if you still want red! When you got your Revo, did they throw in a RR?

Update - someone drove into the side of it, you can't really see it that well in the picture but there is a big dent.

Took the car to Nurburgring with some other lads last weekend! two 12 hour drives, 3 whole tanks of Diesel, 6 and 1/2 laps later the car is back in one piece. A couple of things I now know for next time are things such as UPRATE THE BRAKES and always bring shorts. Lucily we ignored the weather report of heavy rain all weekend and went for it. No rain saturday and without overstating, it only rained lightly for 30 seconds on sunday!!! Lovely conditions

Anyway, this is what a Mk 4 on standard springs looks like on the nordschleife (north ring)

P.s the hole where a grill should be was tidying up after the "badger incident". Bodywork and wheels are set to be sorted in the near future

Thanks, as you can probably tell the pics are profesionally done and i've just cut and paste off the sales site. Two of the mates we wen. With had been before so it was all organised by them. It was amazing but I think I would want to bring a track ready car next time.

Looks good mate.

Am doing my first track day at Brands Hatch next month and getting it as ready as possible before then. Have got the 20v rather than the diesel and hoping it's gonna take the abuse!

Also noticed you're in Southampton. I never see Cupras about. which part you from?

What was the handling like with stadard suspension on the track?

I'll be honest, the handling felt sloppy and soft but suprisingly predictable. In hindsight I would have put spacers on the rear, coilovers, strut braces front and rear, anti roll bars front and rear and taken the back seats out. Still massively enjoyed it! I did overtake a 135i coupe at one point...... Diesel power!!

From my experience, (which ain't much) take everything you can out of the car, buy a pair of racing gloves because your hands WILL get sweaty, turn the air con off and make sure you have a good set of tyres on. Let me know how the trackday goes!

Got the paintwork done and front bumper replaced a little while ago but never got round to posting pics. Went a bit out of the norm and got all the plastics done gloss black.....

Thoughts?

Had to add a cheeky ring sticker. Won't add the number one sticker until the whole thing is up to standard.

I like that.

Gloss black grilles look great. Nice work.

Did you do the side strips gloss black aswell? Ive been toying with the idea. Got myself a spare set of strips aswell.
