)hi mate its not ihi, its a gt28rs conversion with external waste gate and cast manifold imported from the states we also fitted a kms aftermarket management system with a custom map, custom exhaust, intercooler and all pipework. a hyperflow air filter eboost boost controller and a few other small mods

I almost didn't go today, was a little worse for ware!
but anyway, unfortunately I didn't beat my 13.8
did two 13.9s @ 103mph though, so not too bad.
I found it so much harder to launch the car today, not sure why but its the first time iv launched it properly since having my uprated spec clutch fitted, so i think that effected my time slightly. well it obviously was a contributing factor. could only manage a 2.35 60ft time where as last time i did a 2.2
oh and there was an audi R8 there, best he did was a 13.8!

13.8 for the R8, thats rubbish but great for a LCR
the clutch is fine, got all the power to the wheels as it should have and didn't slip at all, but I need more practise at launching with my new clutch, thats all!
i would have expected the r8 to get a high 12 or something!

Well the cold weather at night didn't help as just turned the strip in to a friggin ice rink near enough..
So best was a 13.4 @ 107.4mph, with a 2.4 60ft.. Will hopefully get better next year..
Nice terminal though mate.. Is she just over 300bhp did you say? Hybrid now isn't it?
Managed 13.6 on Sunday there again, non stripped, with 2 people on board @ 109.8mph

I always thought 2.2 seconds 0-60ft was a very good time for a FWD running a decent amount of power? Whilst 2 dead is good for the likes of RWD?

so night runs at this time of year are not as good as expected then!
no its not a hybrid, stock turbo, stage 2... 285bhp is my average RR result.
if i had done a 2.2 60ft (on one of my 13.9 runs) then i would have seen a 13.7 in theory.
I think a 13.6 would be possible with a "perfect" launch too, but I doubt i will find out as im not planning to go back to pod with my LCR tbh.

Oh right, fair enough!
Bust a engine mount on the day do hard launches to get my 13.83 1/4 time in the TDi
Then my random boost problem came back (think its a dodgy wire somewhere) the vibrations must have set it off!
