Think theyre new ones tbh, my old GTi was legendary for the boot trick! turned out it was a parcel shelf mount that had broke causing it to get in the way

Also do the light thing, normally when someones just about to pass and they get blinded!

also you know you have a mk2 ibiza when you dont even have a glove box due to the airbag

it takes you a few attempts to shut the doors

the boot lock gets stuck so once you do get the boot shut it only opens from the inside-thats when you find the huge rusty holes where the number plate screws used to be!

you need a booster seat to see out the wing mirrors as they dont go any further in

its sticker barry from dealership-seat arent shy about advertising the fact its a 16v gti! its even embroidered in the seats!

the parcel shelf detatches itself all the time and lives in the boot

you think the rear window is wet, but its actually on the inside-by this time the rear wipers stuck on

theres always that uncertainty when you first turn the ignition-will it...wont it...

Get ne drop links, when they wear out that happens, they prevent the door hitting the body unless you really swing them

  Some old friend asks "Is that Your SKODA on the driveway??"

yep.. crappy day at work today, sun was shining when I got home.. (but wouldnt be up for too much longer) took the mk4 up to the jetwash ( I know... but it was the quickest /easiest way ) then decided to take the mk2 up afterwards.. girl in the garage did a double take , but the drive there/back was just so much better in the mk2
