if u did a 2.2 dead then i would guess u should do a 13.4 (assuming you didn't miss a gear and changed gear as quick as possible AND you changed at the optimum rpm!)
what is the optimum rpm to change gear in drags?
iv heard it was 6500 revs where the boost finishes,some1 else tells me its redlined...

so definately no redlining?
1 more n00bish question, when starting from 0,what revs are you sitting at before launching past Golfs and the like?
Not sure what you mean? Bear in mind there are all sorts of Golfs out there mate. An Ed30 with DSG is gonna be a hard/impossible one for a car with the same engine and a manual box to overcome - infact, I would say it is the fastest golf out there, ahead of the R32.

Nothing's impossible Al... You're getting closer and closer though..
If I could perfect the launch and match your 2.1 second 60 foot times, 13.4 is there for the taking
I got 2.1 in the LCR mate. Best i've got in the Golf is 2.29.. Needs perfecting also me thinks....
This is what I was sayig about the launch mat control. It's no real help over a manual in a FWD car mate.. Especially one that is running 40-50% more power than stock..
last retarded question,im assuming you are dragging with the traction control off?
