Since having my LCR remapped ive been loving the extra power and like a kid with a new toy i take every opportunity to give it a blast that was up until Wednesday evening whilst coming back from the petrol stsation I put my foot down for a bit of dual carriage way fun and whilst you could here the turbo spool up there clearly wasn't the power there had been before.

I filled up with V Power as I always do so cant really see it being that, unless it was a dodgy fill up, and the only other thing I have done since my remap is to service the car changing oil, filter and plugs on Sunday and whilst I don't normally use the car every day I used it Mon, Tues and Wed and all ok up until Wednesday evening.

Iv'e checked VAG.com for faults and found nowt so I have logged blocks 003,115 & 118 but to be honest wouldn't know a fault on these prints if it was staring me in the face.

1st print is run in 3rd gear up to the red line

2nd print is run in 2nd through 3rd and 4th

There is also quite a loud woosh of air when the turbo spools up which is new, I think, even my missus can hear and she knows nowt about cars so could be a leak although generally loud as have a BMC CDA fitted.

Next stop is to pull it apart tomorrow and check it all (please no rain.....) but can any one see anything obvious from the prints shown above?

For doing logs you need to be in 4th with revs as low as possible, get onto a long straight road, plant the right foot till you bottle it, about 6,000 RPM should do.
Post up logs for us to see

Yup
Because 4th is almost a 1 to 1 ratio in the gear box so the power the engine supplies is what is felt at the wheels.
Best off in fourth and log boost (actual and requested), MAF and RPM

If you know the moors may know a liitle village called Christow anyway thats where I was from and now living just outside Cambridge in a small town called St Neots. Moved up for the job as although I love Devon there is just no money down there..... Have considered moving back many a time as all family still there. Down around Exeter quite often so if you ever see a Silver LCR .......;)

Are they something that could go suddenly do you reckon?? Not had any work done in that area really only fitted a TIP a few weeks ago?? I'll pull it all to bits tomorrow and see what we've got I reckon :)

if it was the gaskets it will start with a slight blowing sound then it will get worse over weeks

Don't think it's a boost leak - top end boost looks okay, but bottom end looks weak - yet the N75 duty cycle looks low, which means it isn't trying to make boost.

I've seen similar before, but it's beyond me to tell you what the problem is...

Depending on which mapper you used, they might look at the logs?

Used Custom Code so hope they may have a look...........

Right been a busy bee this morning and been out and basically gone over everything I can think off that I have done recently or may have caused this.

I have checked all vac pipes, checked DV, checked all pipes going on intercoolers and charge pipe, removed TIP and checked turbo (small amount of play on the cold side turbine put seems ok), cleaned MAF and BMC CDA, cleaned and reset TB, checked coilpacks and spark plugs but guess what its still f*@#ing there!!!

Took the car out for a test and to get more fuel whilst out and there is still a distinct lack of the power that was there before and still this loud blowing sound when under boost in 4th.
I ran some more logs and no expert with VAG.com but boost looks ok??

Both run in 4th...

Suppose I gotta laugh as I have owned more powerful/harder tuned modified cars than this but never come across so many problems as I have than with this in the past 6 months and just to top it all off the car is still covered by an AA warranty but they won't do anything unless something breaks on it.

So can anyone see anything out of the ordinary with the above logs?

Also got another DV (Standard crap) that I can try later and kinda wandering if it could be the turbo on its way although car has only done 58k?? My head hurts from to much thinking... ;):)

Cheers
