Forge 007p query

Hey,
In response to my wanted thread for a DV, I got this reply from a member:

Hi mate I have just change to a Split-R so have my old DV for sale. It is around 5 months old. It came on the car when I bought it off a mate. He changed the OE plastic one to this.....Now he said its a Forge 007p and look exactly like one but hasn't got Forge stamp on it. He is 100% its a Forge. He bought it when there was a VAG event. It is Black so still looks standard


A Forge valve without the Forge logo on?

As far as I know all Forge valves either black or polished should have a Forge logo on it

this sounds like an 'unofficial' 007p.
Forge supplied valves have forge stamped on them.

Don't bother with a second hand one, especially if its origin is not clear. It's only £80-90 quid for a new genuine Forge 007P. I'm sure AmD had a good price a few weeks back so it would be worth looking at their site.

That valve ^^^ sounds like a waste of time, along with the forge split r. (i used to have one) i wouldn't be atall worried about buying the Forge look-a-like valve as they are all the bloody same!!! I have stripped down a forge 007p and one like you have mentioned, a blind man would be pleased to see the difference.

If you want to get bent over for a logo then fair game!

early forge valves did'nt have forge on them.. so that may date the age of the dv

i have one that are just like forge007 but no logo on it..
but mine i polished ali.
have a forge007 to and they are just the same
