Forge 007p query

That valve ^^^ sounds like a waste of time, along with the forge split r. (i used to have one) i wouldn't be atall worried about buying the Forge look-a-like valve as they are all the bloody same!!! I have stripped down a forge 007p and one like you have mentioned, a blind man would be pleased to see the difference.

If you want to get bent over for a logo then fair game!

there is a huge difference. forge offer a lifetime guarentee. its been developed.

where do you get the servicing kits from for the copies? beefed up springs etc.


id never feel shafted buying from a company that is continuosly testing and developing their kit. even if the copy was 100% ...if we all bought it, forge would vanish and then theres nothing to copy and no better kit being developed.

Each to there own and all that One of the reasons i'm not a fan is because the split r valve and cold side relocation i purchased direct from forge was loosing power. Once i took it off i realised just how much better it was with the standard bosch plastic valve. Since then i have got a forge 007p copy with no problems atall.

if you had turned the splitter to full recirc it would have done exactly what the 007 copy is doing now.

i have fitted a forge valve but the car seems slower.. is there anything i need to do an would a green spring be ok in a lcr with amd remap....... not sure if me but original valve felt faster? sorry for hijacking thread just wondered if i need to reset ecu an of so how do i do that? cheers guys

Fitted the 007p backwards today to see any differences, and I must say I prefer it this way round! When letting off the throttle the valve makes a nice clear 'chirpy' tschh sound as opposed to the conservative shhh sound when fitted normally. Also, throttle response feels better :S

Anyway just thought I'd post my results.
