Well, its been a while since i updated this. Been away on holiday and getting more things done to the car. Got the car back from Star before i went on holiday with the ceramic coating and service all done. Was made up with the car, then 70miles later there was a strange nosie coming from the car. So another drive upto Star before i went on holiday and dropped the car off to see if Jim could see what the problem was. He started with the gearbox and found a bearing had collapsed and sent it off to get Gear Change and they replaced 4th gears along with new bearings. Got it back to Jim and got it fitted and was still making a noise, few stumbling blocks later and find out the flywheel was knackered so had to get replaced. So been worrying times the past week or two since being home but all is back to normal and car is running like a dream again. Got it back on Monday, so just got a chance to give it a clean and get some pics...altho not the best pics it started raining

It's USSC, i got a 5th last year. Maybe, depends who goes from my neck of the woods see if i can get a lift

Yeah it was up for sale, I got told i could be losing my job as there are 95 redundicies going to be happening in my work in the next two weeks. But decided to keep it until I actually lose my job. Fingers crossed i dont, as i have spent too much money on getting the car how I want it. Would be gutted to sell it as ive only done 2600miles since i got it and dont feel like ive had enough use of it yet

nah, think u can just turn up anytime, but you only get till 3 or 4 o'clock to qualify(sp?) for final shot out thing

Would head up about 11. Dont like staying there all day, altho only been there once with the IHI couple of years ago. Need to learn how to launch off the line lol. What tyre pressure do you recommend?

Drop front to 18psi. Best advise i was given/shown was to practise when your warming up tyres before run, try control spinning n revs so ur not bouncing off limiter and your wheels are spinning but your moving forward, not on the spot as you would if you were bouncing off limiter.
That make sense?

So just a case of riding clutch in a way? Going to have a few runs anyway, see what times i can put down. Should be fun, hope the weather picks up

Yeah, but its throttle. Easier shown to be honest. If you watch the guy with black starlet, he gets good launches. 250bhp starlet running 13.3's
