You may find it takes a while to get the mbc set right as it can be a very fine line. How have you got it plumbed in? Also what is your actuator pressure?

Let us know how you get on with it. Mines like a boost lottery at the moment.

I'm looking at the AEM Tru-boost, but only becuase I like the neat mounting solution.

Yeah get a pic up. Is its got three lines yes? In, exhaust and atmosphere.

Dont quite understand why you have just gone and got an ebc when you dont even know A-if its set up right and B-if boost control is actually your problem.

yep three lines, need to get some pics of the CF cover tonight as its getting sent back, so will get some pics up of the MBC as well

The actuator on the turbo is wound right up, could it be this? the MBC was doing its job right, as in winding it and boost was gradually increasing, but upon more requested boost it would not go any further. power has certianly increased and it is a lot smoother now

I have not seen inside the MBC, but is it solenoid and spring controlled at all, because with the kit came a spring, and I have no idea what this is for i.e. similar to a Forge DV, there are different stiffer and softer springs, so apply the same principal to the MBC?

Also how much adjustment has the mbc got on it. What is the distance difference between fully wound out and totally closed?

sorry I did not measure this Phil, but I will take it off and see what the difference is.

I assume full wound in would be running off the WG spring pressure.

do you want me to take a pic of where the actuator is wound to?

On the MBC minimum (fully wound in) is hitting 0.7 bar and Maximum (wound out) is 1.2 bar

to be honest I should have got the EBC from the start but didn't really (mainly due to the issue where I thought you had to solder it onto the ECU, but since Moff has cleared that up, and the Greddy runs off the existing N75 like the MBC does, hence I have now ordered it)
