They never game me a name no, I just used [email protected], they requested I send it back and gave me an RMA number, cost me £41 to send it back via Parcel2go.com. I have seen pics of the revised design and it does look stronger.

whats different then on the revised design Rob?

Got my delivery from Merlin Motorsport which included M10 K-nuts plus oil cooler mounting brackets, bolts, rubber mountings etc. Got pretty much everything I need to re-fit my turbo, fit the oil cooler etc..

The hoses on the Mocal oil cooler are WAY too short, so I got some longer hose, push-fit oil unions, mounting brackets and rubber bushes etc. so I can now mount it where I want.

Jamie, you'll need these parts to fit you oil cooler too. I have 2 sets of the mounting brackets if you want a set, I ordered 2 but you get a pair in each pack.

thanks Rob

if its ok, yes the spare brackets would help. how much do you want for these?

on the piping front, it only comes in half a metre, is that long enough, as the pipes that come with the kit are about the same length, but you say these are too short?

are you going to do a guide or photos on how you have mounted the cooler, so i can get an idea of how it is done?

I'll sort out the oil cooler once I get the damn turbo on. Had a go at refitting the turbo and manifold today - what a nightmare, couldn't get anything on - I HATE ATP turbos!!!!!!!

Tried spraying the manifold too - waste of time that was, coating didn't take so have to take it all off again - I hate modifying now.

Rob, patience mate, we all hit the "I hate modding" scenario when things do not go our way

but when it does work, and it hits full boost, you know its worth it:D smiles per miles

keep at it mate:)

Although the turbo fitted fine before right, so is the issue the manifold?

Looks like I'll have to take the downpipe off to get everything bolted up, not enough movement in it to get it all bolted together, I'll see if I can unhook the exhaust mounts first though, as that might give me enough to move the DP back a bit to get the turbo and manifold in.

Rob don't even give it a seconds thought, get the DP the feck out of the way. You need as much space as possible, its hard enough as it is. In the words of Mr T "No pain No Gain".

Unhooked the rear exhaust mount this morning, and right away there is more DP movement, so need to jack the car up and free the two centre mounts, that will allow plenty of movement to get it all back far enough to mount the turbo and manifold, then slide the DP onto the turbo. I don't fancy trying to get the DP off.

Checked the tracking on the manifold heading back to ATP and it has arrived with them already!

So when is Rob Don's modifying shop going to be up and running.
You could do the night shift in Polished Bliss's unit, plenty space there for a ramp.
Richard was speaking about one before.
You'd do very well I'm sure
