Why you decided to sell hooch? Think Im going to have to put my IHI up for sale soon as I cant warrant putting the miles on it now (new circumstances) as its my daily. Least I had some fun in mine. Be sure to put yours to good use before you let her go as its alot of time and effort that you will miss.

thats a fair comment but i was planning to sell just before i blew here up.
and i didnt want to rebuild it mildly

dont get me wrong i love the car and its great fun but i like building cars

i may go to nuremberg before i sell and i may not sell till next years shows but who knows

I'm the same, if there isn't anything to do on my car I get bored. I love the whole build process. Good luck with your new car.

small update.

got the new maf on and it went back for mapping.

came back with same problems. but they are now putting it down to compressor surge. however im not convinced.

they also said once it pulled thru the surge it made 460bhp, but once again im not convinced.
currently looking to have it mapped again at my cost.

i also managed to snap the turbo support bracket so i now have a stonger model its not stainless anymore, thicker, and has a strengthening fold

thats what i mean mate. getting it mapped at my cost by someone else.

its a 5hour round trip to drop my car off to them and ive had enough plus they dont seem to be getting anywhere

going to see some poeple tomorrow

i dont like mrc after what they did to my k04 set up, they ****ed that up good and proper.

where can you go now days to get a good map?
