Petrol now stands at about £1.12-£1.14 here, but the lowest diesel I can find is £1.26...****ing rip off! I remember when I first started driving and it wasn't long ago, 2006, prices were about 3p apart with petrol at approx 93p and diesel at 96p. GRRRR!!

Paid 140.9 for BP Ultimate Diesel the other week. I fancied a change. Cost me about £75 if I recall. That only lasts me about a week and a half as well.

Next time I think it will be Sainsbury's going in: 123.9 - 5p a litre voucher = 118.9! Woohoo.

Looks like the price of oil is down again today and it looks to be heading down even further in the coming weeks.

Hopefully diesel will get back to 110-115 fairly soon :)

Part of their plan, raise it up to high levels, just when the public look like burting point they lower it and people then seem happy with the still inflated prices! scare-mongering!

it's something to make me smile when i drive past sainsbury's on my way home each day.

in the past 2 weeks or so it's come from 132.9, to 25.9, and today it's 124.9.

noice. :)

I run my Ibiza 1.9TDi Sport 130 on BT Ultimate, it was 138.9 a litre last fill up :(
I love this engine though, it can do power and economy. It's a boring drive but I can get an average of 60mpg on most journeys and that's still doing the speed limits, not doing 50mph along the motor way. I miss the torque surge when I boot it though, so I still give it some from time to time. MPG readout drops to about 18 then, still compared to my mates 4x4 that's high!
